After a month of fierce competition, on December 22, 2015, Hoayeuthuong.com won the 1st prize at the 2015 Venture Cup.
Venture Cup 2015 is a startup competition organized by Samsung in cooperation with IDG Ventures Vietnam Investment Fund, Yan Media Group, and Forbes Vietnam. In addition to affirming the participating companies’ success, the competition also helps inspire entrepreneurs to develop within their own fields.
The 2015 Venture Cup took place between October 20 and December 21, 2015. It consisted of two categories: one for startup projects and one for existing business models.
Throughout this period, nearly 300 unique, innovative business ideas were submitted to the competition. A jury of experts, all with many years of experience with startups and investments in Vietnam, chose 40 ideas that went to the next round. After a training round, the top 12 was found.
Finally, on December 22, 2015, the final rounds took place. After a detailed introduction of each contestant, Hoayeuthuong.com won the business category because of its clear direction and specific target for the future.

Along with the 1st place, Hoayeuthuong.com was awarded 330 million VND and gifts from sponsors. “Winning the Venture Cup 2015 is a great motivation for Hoayeuthuong.com to continue its efforts in improving customer service. Our goal is to build a strong floral ecosystem that will make Vietnam a global floral market,” Mr. Duong said.
